CDPAP
At EP Home Care LLC, we offer Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Program or CDPAP, a Medicaid program that put the patient in control of directing and supervising their own care.
CDPAP allows the patient to choose who will provide their care and how this care will be provided to them. The consumer can choose a family member, a friend or any eligible person to work as their personal assistant. The patient spouse cannot serve as personal assistant.
A personal assistant does not need any certification or special training, however proof of legal authorized to work is required.
